Teaching Outdoors

New York City, and specifically New York Harbor, is a great place for outdoor learning! Join Billion Oyster Project staff to practice 3 stations for waterfront learning, learn best practices for bringing students into the field, and tips to help you prepare for field teaching. At our July 28th session you'll be able to see the Living Breakwaters off the coast of Staten Island! At Billion Oyster Project, we strongly believe that outdoor learning can encompass any educational discipline and that field learning is possible and engaging for all age groups.
