Summer Internships | Research Associate Technician Internship Program
The Billion Oyster Project summer Research Associate Technician Internship program is an exciting, paid learning opportunity — a way for young adults who have completed high school to explore careers in marine, environmental education and engagement, and non-profit-related fields. The Research Associate Technician interns will provide support to all the departments of the Billion Oyster Project through a specific programmatic focus, work with dedicated on-site supervisors, gain both targeted and general non-profit experience, and leave the program with an individual research project and presentation skills. Interns are fully integrated into the organization — attending and reporting out at staff-wide meetings and functions. The program runs through May 1st through Sept 1, 2024 with start and end date flexibility. Compensation is $19/hr.
