Explore Our Curricular Resources
By partnering with Billion Oyster Project, your K-12 students become field scientists engaged in a hands-on movement to restore oysters to New York City’s waterways.
Billion Oyster Project Classroom Curriculum
Explore Billion Oyster Project's K-12 curriculum and classroom resources. You'll find 80+ lessons organized into project-based units that give students an opportunity to explore their local ecology and waterfronts.
Ecosystem Engineers Curriculum
We are thrilled to share 5 units of STEM learning thanks to support from Con Edison. To get started with at-home activities, view our Oyster Anatomy video, and an introduction from Ann Fraioli, Director of Education at Billion Oyster Project.
Species ID Guide
There’s more to our reefs than the oysters themselves. Bring local ecology into your curriculum with our Species ID Guide. Download or request physical copies for your classroom at educate@billionoysterproject.org.
