Adventure in the city, support BOP, and taste specialty dishes at the Billion Oyster Crawl!

On September 16, BOP is launching the second annual Billion Oyster Passport, to coincide with the kickoff to the Fifth Annual New York Oyster Week, a celebration of the role of the oyster in the history, culture, cuisine, ecology and economy of New York State.  The OysterHood, a community for oyster producers, distributors, chefs and oyster enthusiasts to share, learn and explore the world of oysters, is a presenting partner of the ongoing promotion.

Here’s how this works:

Step one: Get ahold of a Billion Oyster Passport.  That passport’s got the map above, plus listings for 22 dishes from 22 of New York City’s finest restaurants.

Step two: Between September 16 and October 22, go to as many of these restaurants as you can!  During this time, restaurants will donate one dollar per plate sold to BOP.
